The number of “yes” choices that you have made will reflect generally on the strength of your Parent leadership. That is, the more “yes” choices, the stronger your leadership is likely to be.

After you have completed the review, list your strengths (“yes” responses) on a separate piece of paper and refer to them daily (or more often). They will serve as a source of encouragement.

Consider the items that were given a “no” or “uncertain” response to be possible areas of weakness.

Print the Journal Sheet for Strengths.

Choose one of the “yes” responses that you want to strengthen and write it down in your “Strength Journal”.

In order to strengthen a strength it is necessary to have a plan. Every good plan has as least 3 parts:

  1. What am I going to do?
  2. When am I going to do it?
  3. How will I and others know when it’s been done?

Develop a plan to strengthen a strength. Write down this plan.

Remember, the main emphasis is always to STRENGTHEN A STRENGTH.
