In the midst of all the daily activities common to every family—meal preparation, laundry, school and social activities, settling disputes, schedules, tears, laughter, etc., what are the core essentials that family leaders need to address in order for a family to experience balanced growth?

As you review and study each of the above essentials, list every strength (the things you are doing well). You may want to add them to your Strength Journal. You can then strengthen them by following the pattern of strengthening a strength as outlined in the Program Overview, The Family Leader Review and How to Strengthen a Strength.

Also list your weaknesses, then go to What to Do With Weaknesses.

Remember, we grow by strengthening a strength.
